Langford or Hawley seem like Vance type guys. Rubio is out of the administration the second Cuba is announced. His demeanor today was noticeable in his disapproval of Trump’s new position.

While Rubio is a fabulous speaker and debater, I have never fully trusted him. I can't place my finger on why. I am afraid that no one will be able to fill Trump's shoes. My fear with Rubio is that he will bow down to the REPUBS and fizzle to a Rubio lite. However, that is likely to happen with most potential candidates. In all seriousness there just aren't many Trumps. Sadly, I think we gravitate as a party to more complacency. I.E. look at Thune in the Senate. A dog that barks with no bite. My money would be on Vance. I like Vance's background and the fact that he has a relationship with Trump. Regardless, prayers for our leaders and our nation.

That's a road many VP's have traveled unsuccessfully.

The primary will be Vance (AF) vs Rubio (conservatives and GOPe) with whoever gets the Trump backing likely to win because the maga base is clearly loyal to him.

Will Trump bash and give a nickname to the one he doesn't support?

It would be much cleaner if he privately pressures them to only run who he is supporting.

Vance secured his top spot by publicly supporting the Iran Deal. Rubio is likely very close to falling out Trump’s favor with his silence and reported apprehension concerning the agreement.

The success or failure of the Islamic Republic's word being worth the paper it is written on will have a big effect for those who bought into this alleged deal.

I like Vance to stay VP and Rubio to be at the top of the ticket. He’s infinitely more qualified and older than Vance.

I'm not saying Rubio isn't good in the position he currently occupied, but he's a NeoCon and has always been a NeoCon.

I'm personally sick of NeoCons.

I'd take Rubio over a Democrat for President all day every day, but JD is my personal favorite and it's not even close. If there was even an outside shot for Ron Desantis to win the nomination, he'd be my guy. RDS has just been an astonishingly well-oiled machine of competent governance in Florida.

Give me a combination ticket that combines Vance and Desantis and I might actually feel less pessimistic about the future of this country.

Perhaps you can cogently explain the significant strategic advantages or wins we got out of this? Because I'm not seeing it. I see us paying Iran and Iran not agreeing to anything pertaining to nuclear.

Unless this is a ploy by both to lull the other asleep.

Oh you got the full details of negotiations already? Great let’s have them as you say we are paying and Vance says that’s a load of crap. But go ahead explain the unequivocal surrender America offered up to Iran and how OMB will ever face the people.

Can you explain to us the deal that was made which would mean that you are the only person outside of the admin who knows about the deal

You do realize that the deal is not going to be announced until Friday right?

Given the popularity of this presidential administration the Republican Party is probably the underdog come next election as a whole. But it definitely won’t be Vance that gets the nomination unless you really are looking to lose. It’d be the same likelihood on Cheney winning post W Bush or Quayle winning post HW. And neither administration I gave as an example was as unpopular as the current admin.

Y’all may not like the truth but Vance ain’t winning.
