Here’s an idea. Do away with athletic scholarships and use the money for poor kids who achieve a certain high school GPA and demonstrate leadership and true community involvement while in high school.

Pull his scholarship and find someone else who will play. Plenty of kids in Texas would take that scholarship and play football in exchange for a free education.

I'm alright with athletic scholarships, but I do think we need to stop lowering admissions standards for athletes.
College sports needs a complete overhaul.

Bold strategy for someone that nobody has ever heard of... I think UT will be one of the few schools that won’t bow to leftist pressure. The alum and amount of money that program brings in aren’t going to play the SJW game.
