No one will be held accountable. Forget about prison sentences, I doubt anyone is even fired.

I remember this perfectly from when Congress approved the funds to Ukraine. They, both Democrats and Republicans were darn giddy about the billions they approved to send over there.
I guarantee you that several Republicans have their hand in that jar, which is why nothing will happen.

Prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. You're talking about violations of at least 7 different federal criminal and election related laws including conspiracy to defraud the United States, theft of government money or property, wire and mail fraud, money laundering, etc.
Everyone involved could be thrown in prison for the rest of their lives.

OBVIOUSLY that is wrong and they should be held accountable.
However, we also have to think of the Ukranian people. They didn't ask to be invaded, bombed, or have their children taken away. They want to stand on their own two feet and fight for their freedom.
However, the guy leading them is a schmuck. Not making excuses but I can see where he thought Trump would cut off help so he should help the guy who helped him.
Those who took the money here can probably be prosecuted and should be.

I get what you're saying and you are not wrong ... and I don't blame the Ukranian people, per se. But there is a lot of corruption and war profiteering taking place in Ukranian by the politicians and oligarchs.
And yes, the DEMONcRATS should be held accountable here.
I'm all for publuc executions tbh.
