If theres one thing i know about todays modern American, particularly American "conservative", its that the last thing they will ever do is miss out or do without something.
Way easier to just bitch and ask for big government to "do something" . After all, they're lower-upper middle class, and they DESERVE nice things. Doing without is for those other people.
100 million or more alleged conservatives still sub to netflix that still have trans kid stuff on the platform.
Theyll bark about grooming and trans stuff on here all day til their fingers are sore... but dont dare ask them to sacrifice and miss out on their shows they like.

Most of the new data centers don't support communication. They are for the AI war.

I could be wrong but after reading the article this issue sounds like a bunch of overreaction.
1. The story headline makes it sound like this incident was because of a datacenter. When in reality the data center doesn't exist. It was found at a data center construction site and has nothing to do with running a data center.
2. It isn't clear that anything was done wrong. A bacteria found almost everywhere was in the water apparently at elevated levels. Appropriate measures were taken.
3. There are a number of reasons to appose datacenters, this isn't one of them.
4. The issue is a cooling system initial flush is something that happens all across the world and wasn't specifically connected with the data center operation or chemicals used. Naturally occurring bacteria not some exotic concoction that is specific to data centers.
5. I don't like Zuckerburg. It pains me to post this as it sort of is taking his side.
Feel free to expose any errors in my post. I don't propose that I am all knowing.

There's one house in Austin county I drive by every week that has anti data center signs in their yard. Their Texas flag has also been upside down for at least a year.
