I wonder how much Elon shorted Twitter for before all this started.

He probably positioned himself pretty well with put options at the peak of the Twitter price. IDK what the price was for out of the money put options for strike prices in the 20s and teens were but they were probably pennies. At a minimum he likely has a good hedge/insurance against his long position.

Twitter very well may be sued into bankruptcy after it is all said and done. Bunch of crooks…selling ads based on fake numbers.

And lying to the SEC and investors to drive the stock price up. Sounds pretty fraudulent to me.

Makes perfect sense. Everyone knew Twitter was loaded with Bots that they use to shape public perception.

Now Elon - keep digging. Let's uncover the real "White" supremacy bot farm that the Left unleashes on anyone that dare to question the leftist narrative.

Candance Owens comes to mind as someone who ran up against it. She got her start as a liberal who wanted to combat online bullying. She started a kickstarter/gofundme with an idea to do just that and because the left felt that this would uncover their bot army she was attacked relentlessly by "White Racists" online despite having almost no reputation other than her Kickstarter and some news article that was done about it.

I can't remember the Leftist's name that called her and told her "She would ruin everything" if she went forward with that technology. Someone remind me.

Typically the time for due diligence is before you sign the merger agreement.

Nah, he wants to buy it for fair value based on real traffic.

Unless there is a specific material adverse effect carveout in the merger contract - which in this case there is. They disclosed the number of bots they estimated in previous SEC filings.

As a majority shareholder, doesn't Musk have a case for misleading shareholders regardless if he wants to buy it or not? The purchase price hinges on bot counts. But so does Twitter's livelihood from every other investor and advertiser to their service.

Exposure of fake accounts that high will crush Twitter itself because of lawsuits from SEC and investors for fake reporting . Loss of revenue from advertising plus lawsuits there as well . If Elon still gets it after dust settles it could be after a bankruptcy or value under a billion ( possibly way under a billion)

What's funny is they cry about Russian bots, but these are all liberal bot. They literally accuse what they're doing on the other side.

You are relying on professionals to make sure the financials are free from error due to negligence or fraud. There is a professional liability here by whoever puts together twitters financial statements. As an investor you rely on those to be accurate.

You’d be one of the ones going to prison over this.

If Twitter goes bankrupt it's going to be interesting where the media and Hollywood blue checks go.

It will be further interesting where the deep state actors go to promote their narrative.

Not to threadjack but, I wonder if Facebook’s numbers are fake too?

They tell you your reach, but how do you know it’s real?

I discovered Facebook's numbers weren't real, a few years back.

I bought some advertising for my business, thru FB. X amount of dollars, you reach x amount of users in your area. Spend more, the reach is expanded.

I paid, and started getting "likes" from users thousands of miles away. In fact, delving in the numbers FB provided, most of the people that liked my ad placement were not even close to my area. I'm certain those were bots, or people paid to click "like" to push ad revenue. Keep in mind, other than social media, my business has no web presence and no e-store.

I mean, why not just make his own social media platform that better follows his values. With his wealth and influence he could easily popularize such a venture and for presumably large factors cheaper.

The entire national narrative is phony, and was propagated by bots.
