Ok? That's what they want. They got strong armed into agreeing to sell to Elon in the first place. If they don't give him what he wants and tank they deal, they get to keep their narrative toy.

Not is they lied their arse off to him about what he was making an offer on.

You're not very good at this.

Next big question should be who is twitters external auditor..

Someone is going to get left holding the bag on this, and I am guessing that the board is going to do everything they can to blame someone else.

You don't. I know of at least one account which was owned by someone who is now deceased, but nobody has the info to close it.

If they purposefully lied about their numbers, there could be clauses. But as of right now, we don't have any proof of anything. We have Musk doing a PR campaign and Twitter not doing the same. It will probably be settled by a judge in a court if he tried to back out.

It is certainly not as cut and dry as you make it out to be.

We all knew the number of bots on Twitter was AT LEAST 20%

Everyone did, at least everyone who wasn’t retarded

It never is but this Board always convinces itself they have it figured and will only follow info the reinforces that belief.

Not to threadjack but, I wonder if Facebook’s numbers are fake too?

I’m going with a solid yes

Google as well with their “AdWords” - who verifies the traffic as authentic?

I’ve long suspected bot subscribers on YouTube created to boost the veracity of AdWord campaigns related to YouTube

If you look at the trends, the number of subscribers to actual content responses has plummeted down to around 1%.

I’ve also tested this out with several different campaigns - there seems to be a very consistent algorithm related to the number of subscribers gained to views.

If the botometer include twitter replies to tweets I'm sure most of Elon's twitter replies are bots. That would not be surprising at all.

As for Elon's tweets? Those are easily verifiable if those are his tweets. All you have to do is ask him (or the media ask him).

Musk trying to drive down the price and re-trade.

Still a great platform despite being riddled with bots that are promoting leftist disinformation. Just not worth $45bn

It absolutely is that cut and dried.

They lied to the SEC.

They lied to advertisers.

They lied to stock holders.

They lied to a potential buyer.

They are fricked 8 ways from Sunday.

Everybody overvalues for trades. EVERYBODY. Trump has numerous times. Musk himself got busted for artificially affecting value.

There's plenty of corruption to go around.
