My theory on Tucks is that when he was shown the door at FNC, he had quite the financial hole to fill. I’m sure he was compensated quite well at Fox, and of course he and his family would have formed quite the status quo when it comes to quality of life, and of course the amount of money it takes to sustain it. To take a step down into any class lower than that wasn’t an option for them. So, quite simply, his every goal and mission was to maintain that quality of life, without interruption.

So, to match the his former salary for an anchor or prime time show host at such a large outlet like Fox, he’d have to take just a tad bit different approach in the digital media/podcast game, he would have to (and clearly has) leave all self-respect at the house and whore himself out to do or say whatever the hell he has to in order to achieve maximum “clicks.” He comes across as embarrassing and sad IMO, but I suppose enough money makes him totally fine with it.
