It’s funny watching Tucker Carlson, Mr . Christian Defender of the Faith, with his sanctimonious expression and tone get called out on his bullshite. What a phony

NYT: You said, "Here's a leader mocking the Gods of his ancestors, mocking the God of Gods, and exalting himself above them. Could this be the Antichrist?"

Tucker and a lot of religious nuts think “the antichrist” is some sort of figure to come in the future and they conflate it with the beast from Revelation. Unlike Revelation, the epistles of 1/2/3 John were written anonymously- there is no claimed author within the text. The author of revelation - a different author than the ones who wrote the letters we call 1/2/3 John today - never uses the word “antichrist”.

Tucker is confused. He says he doesn’t really understand the antichrist. Well, “John” explicitly states what the antichrist(s) are. The antichrists, and the spirit of the antichrist, are precisely the surviving sects of Christians who at the time of “John’s” letters still existed and still believed in the more original versions of Christianity that believed Jesus to be a divine being who was crucified and died in heaven, went to the realm of the dead (Hades), and then was resurrected and exalted up to the highest heaven (they believed in 7 heavens / firmaments).

Cliffs: The antichrists were the label given by the Catholic/orthodox Christians (who were duped into believing the allegorical screen play we call the Gospel according to Mark was a historical biography) to the more original Christian sects who like Philo and Paul and Clement of Rome and the real Peter and James believed Jesus never came to earth as a walking talking eating human.

If Paul could have spoken to a Catholic/orthodox Christian in the second century, he would’ve been like, “Dude, that thing you call the gospel according to Mark is an allegorical fictional tale. Those mature in the faith know the real Jesus was killed in heaven by the archons of this Aeon. Those who believe it is historical have missed the entire point and have been duped.”

Tucker lies a fair bit or has memory issues.

Tuck is a shrewd entertainer. He knows normal doesn't sell these days. Only insanity draws.

Embarrassed to admit I used to enjoy watching him on Fox.

Why? I enjoyed watching him also. I am not embarrassed because he was presenting himself as something he wasn't. You base your opinion upon the information you have at the time. As time goes by and you get more info, your opinion changes.

Could you by chance mention that to the muh broken campaign promises sky screamers? Because as the case has been, they set their alarm clocks for 3:00 a.m. every day and wake up with zeal, dedicating their days to catching Trump on “broken campaign promises,” on technicalities and such. Ironically, they don’t give a shite about the issue or topic itself, just the “broken promises.”

If you watch the full interview, it’s pretty clear the conversation was far from “intense.” There are a few moments of mild, respectful pushback, but it’s largely a cordial, friendly, and agreeable exchange.

There is a reason the New York Times constantly runs polished, quasi-glamorous profiles of figures like Carlson, Nick Fuentes, Marjorie Taylor Greene, James Fishback, etc.—but hardly ever does the same for senior Trump administration officials or right-of-center media/political figures in good standing with the president and his team.

It is because Tucker and his ilk represent everything MAGA conservatives aren’t—but what New York Times readers want to believe them to be: cartoonishly bigoted and far too fringe, conspiratorial, and bizarre to win national elections—yet nevertheless, substantively much closer to the far-left on foreign and economic policy questions.

My very intense conversation with Tucker Carlson where we talk about what he says are Trump’s ‘supernatural’ powers, the President’s betrayal of his party, the people he despises in MAGAWorld, and so much more. LINK

Tucker Carlson says he regrets interviewing Nick Fuentes.

“I wish I hadn’t done the Fuentes interview… it was totally not worth it.”

Says it turned into a monthlong distraction with people calling him a Nazi nonstop.

Then he goes there: “I’ve interviewed far worse people than Nick Fuentes like Mike Huckabee, far worse person than Nick Fuentes, hurt many more people than Nick Fuentes. Same with Ted Cruz.”

Tucker really out here ranking the mainstream GOP like that

Covid-19, and the ensuing lockdowns, broke Tucker Carlson. After all, it was Carlson who drove to the White House in the middle of the night back in March 2020 to tell Trump to start taking the pandemic seriously. He bought into the early fear mongering about the virus and allowed it to influence his judgment. In hindsight, probably not a good idea. Now he's skeptical about anything and everything that purports to be part of an official narrative. Now he sounds like a quack and a grifter to both sides, not just the Left.

His hard core fan base, much like that of Candace Owens, still listens to him but he has lost the plot with most mainstream conservatives.

This is true.

Tucker being attacked by demons in his sleep won't play well.

Your Tuckers and Candaces of the world would not be talked about near as much on a day to day basis if they did not stay “controversial”.

They are primarily in the business of ….themselves.
