I let Delta do a retina scan flying out of Atlanta to NYC a few years ago. Not sure if it’s saved in some data base but probably. Kind of wish I had opted out.

Likely not much, but the hippo at the desk was being a bitch, tore into some poor guy in front of me for not being behind the line until she called him. Didn’t hold anyone up, it’s optional and it took her all of 3 seconds to use her model 1 eyeball to compare me to my Id.
They don’t need a new pic of me every time I fly. frick em. The government orchestrated 9/11 and the TSA is an abomination.

I know OP probably thinks a flight to Charlotte is some exciting shite, but facial recognition was rolled out in Dubai first (there was an tunnel with a video displayed on it with a bunch of fish designed to get you to tilt and move your head so they could capture all angles of your face.) Then EU airports and those in the UK started rolling it out. It's not even a question of if it's in use, it's whether it's just law enforcement or the airlines doing it or both. It happens all over the world.
