Excuses, excuses.

Of course, the Dawgs have won the SEC three out of four years and NC twice in the last four years, because of "a cupcake schedule" (SIC).

This is the opposite of what Kirby teaches at Georgia. Focus on what's in front of you, rather than looking for excuses on why someone else is doing better that your program.
And Mendoza and Sayin had 13 and 10 points to their name last week :dunno:

We need to take a page from this team.
They have no quit, especially when their backs have been against the wall..

Yes

Is ND really a "national" brand?

And the Big 10 has Oregon, so arguably a national footprint.

At the end of the day, any decision will have a consequence. ND chose to be independent, and being left out of the CFP is a consequence of that.

Expand the playoffs, get rid of the bowls

I think that agressiveness was the key.
But also reflective of not only how defense but overall team played.

Now transpose that thought with who's coaching Bama... Deboer...

Do you really think there's a likelihood of that happening??

Dawgs played with an attitude...

Was great to see everyone tuned-in from the first snap.
You could just tell there was a different energy with the team and every unit seemed dialed-in.

Night and day from how we started some games earlier in the season.

I'm hoping we keep that going, because our team with that attitude will win the NC.

Participation trophies
And if you go for it, at least have a decent play in hand

Interested to see how much our pass rush has improved.

It felt like bama had 365 days to throw the ball the first go around.

I think that will pretty much be the key to winning this game.

Yes, we should take a page from Auburn. They never let Ty get comfortable.
The CFP really needs to account for strength of schedule.
Without that, legitimate teams will continually be left out.

That's the last thing we need.

He's already more hyped up than Notre Dame.
so basically it seems like a 10 win minimum.
What should his achievements be in 3-4 years? NC? SEC?

Is a 8-4 season acceptable in 2-3 years?

Generally the more you lose, the better your strength of schedule gets because you've added a bunch of Ws in your opponents' columns. Conversely, the more you win, the more you hurt your own strength of schedule by added so many Ls for your opponents' records.

Orrly??

Then explain how Oklahoma, Bama, and UGA are in the top 11?

I said I had a bunch, here are a few.
I never predict the winner of our games or the score.
I won't DVR our games.
I try wear white for away games and garnet/black for home games.
I'll change shirts if losing at halftime.
I won't put out a team flag in the yard until after the game is over.

I'm sure there's more I can't think of right now...

The question is, how is all this working out for you?

Yeah, I can see 45-27.
Barring some really unlikely turn of events.
