Huckabee is awful. But Trump probably isn't sharing this because he necessarily agrees with Huckabee. He's sharing it because Huckabee played to his vanity and said God saved Trump to save America, etc.

I have no doubt Huckabee thinks his mission as ambassador is to assist in rebuilding the temple so as to spark the rapture and Christ's 2nd coming.

Why can’t we rent some B2 bombers to Israel for a week and sell them the GBU-57’s? They’d knock out Iran nuclear capabilities and go back to normal. Let the damn Persian ragheads figure out their leadership themselves.

I am well aware that Huckabee was extremely pro-Israel even before his appointment and also a devout evangelical. The poster added his opinions about the text though, not actually what it read. With that said, I suppose those things could be inferred. If he is a Scofield guy, the inference would likely be correct.
I have seen a great number of dispensationalists get absolutely giddy about the prospects of Israel going to war with different Arab nations. I find it fascinating (and a lil disturbing) that they believe a war like this is necessary for a second advent.
