I'm about as far from being "pro-war" as you can get, within reason, but........
if Iran was brought to heel, a vast amount of problems in the ME would cease to exist. Iran funds the Palestinian terrorists and the Houthis. They are the main drivers of chaos and the disruption of commerce in that region. They can't simply be left alone. They are constantly stirring shite up, while the other nations get along reasonably well. Without Iran's funding and help, there likely would have been no 10/7 event in Isreal, AND subsequently, no humanitarian crisis with Gaza today. They have been actively trying to procure nuclear weapons for decades with the sole reason being the annihilation of the Israeli nation. Years and year of UN agreements have been worthless, with Iran either kicking the inspectors out or just not letting them into the facilities they want to inspect. Hell, North Korea possess less concern, and they have more capability!
At this point, doing nothing, like we have been, is just kicking the can down the road and allowing them to buy time. Sooner or later, they will have to be dealt with. In my mind, better now while the other Arab nations are willing to turn their back on them, than later after they are able to achieve their goal.
