Russia has released American military veteran Robert Gilman after more than four years in prison, where advocates say he endured severe abuse and became gravely ill. The State Department said Gilman, 32, was freed on humanitarian grounds without a prisoner exchange or other U.S. concessions.
Gilman, a former Marine detained in 2022 and later sentenced to 10 years on multiple assault convictions, was reportedly in life-threatening condition after spending 47 days in a “dissociative stupor.” He is now headed to a U.S. military hospital in Texas for medical and psychological treatment.
Gilman’s family credited President Trump and Sen. Ed Markey with helping secure his release. His sister said Trump took action after learning about the case, while Markey condemned Gilman’s treatment in Russian custody and said his release was long overdue

It’s amazing we didn’t have to give up another merchant of war/death like Biden did

I can’t believe Biden swapped a known terrorist for Brittney Grainer while leaving this Marine in captivity. That administration was a total failure

Should’ve traded back Griner. Or a bulk shipment of treasonous liberals for a true authoritarian experience

Correct. A glaring example of how fricked up the Biden admin truly was.

In his two Terms Donald Trump has brought home more Prisoners than any other President.

Trump is great at getting American prisoners returned home.

Instead of going for the release of a military man, Biden prioritized the release of a Big Foot-looking gargantuan from the WNBA. Had to get the black "gurl" out to show the Demwits who really matters to the Democrat Party.
Great news, Trump!
Great news, Trump!

Biden as a sports GM would ensure his team would finish last with stupid trades giving up good for bad.

So trading the black black basketball player for the arms trader over a US serviceman who happens to be white is an example of that white privilege.

I wish I could get into a money fantasy football league with Brandon, Obama, and Kerry.

Glad he’s coming home, but why did he have to wait 4 years??? How long did Britney Griner spend over there?

This will not be reported on MS NOW, NBC, or ABC at all.

Any MSM that actually understood real journalism would reach out to Biden or kamala and throw them a few hardball questions.

We could have the WNBA play a series of exhibition games in Russia, but that might be considered an act of war.

According to what I've read, he spent one year in the USMC. So that tells me he was a shitbag washout.
