I added some more shares today so I could sell another CC. $400 strike expiring 1/15. $17.40 per contract.
re: At what point do we see players suing for permanent eligibility?
Posted by Complete Linebacking on 8/20/26 at 12:13 pm to Blanding
This is really the essence of the question I posed. Who decides on 5 years eligibility? That feels just like some sort of arbitrary number. If a player is a student in academic good standing, why should the number of years he can play be limited? If he isn’t good enough for the NFL but is a good college player, an attorney could make a compelling argument that you are limiting an individual’s earning potential as they are likely to make more playing for State U than they are selling insurance.
At what point do we see players suing for permanent eligibility?
Posted by Complete Linebacking on 8/20/26 at 8:55 am
Feel like this is the logical next step in the college sports eligibility saga. Player argues as that as long as they are enrolled in classes at XYZ state, they should be eligible to play ball. Local judge then grants the request. Player and NCAA ultimately fight it out in court. And then, taking it a step further, when do high schools start getting in on the action?

Did Jordy’s new podcast already get cancelled?

Saw him on with Jacques yesterday talking about Skip. Realized hadn’t seen anything from him lately.
re: Trump: former U.S. Marine Robert Gilman is coming home after being imprisoned in Russia

Why was this idiot in Russia in the first place. Multiple assault convictions? . I wouldn’t care if he rotted over there. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Happy for his family though.
re: Fetterman spin-off: is there another politician who's actually grown on you in time?
Posted by Complete Linebacking on 7/30/26 at 9:41 am to jrobic4
Not sure why conservatives are fooled by Fetterman. The only “conservative” stance he takes is his 100% support of Israel. He is lock step with the Dems on everything else.

Absolutely not. I’m at the point where I’m against all immigration legal or illegal. America is full, no vacancy
Rewarding Bad behavior.
Posted by Complete Linebacking on 6/30/26 at 10:03 am
It is so incredibly frustrating that bad behavior continues to be rewarded in this country. Break our laws to come here illegally, drop a kid, and the kid gets automatic citizenship. That is so incredibly fricked.
Couple that with illegals from anywhere being able to claim asylum, providing healthcare/food/housing to illegals. The American working taxpayer continues to get bent. The question is not if, but when does the tree of liberty ultimately get watered. Our government is clearly not working for its citizens.

re: Why do people vote to raise their property taxes?
Posted by Complete Linebacking on 6/28/26 at 3:55 pm to Strannix
Thank your friends and neighbors that were too busy to vote yesterday or do early voting. I voted against all 3 propositions. Bottom line is citizens can’t be bothered to pay attention to how the government constantly fricks them over so we get what we deserve. I agree it’s infuriating
re: What is better and more coveted: Wrigley Field or Fenway Park?
Posted by Complete Linebacking on 6/17/26 at 6:23 am to braves21
Been to both. Can’t go wrong with either. Wrigley now has a large led board that takes away some of the charm, imo. Would give slight edge to Fenway.

1997 LSU v Auburn. Fantastic game. Back and forth all night. The diesel ran wild for LSU but D. Craig led a final minutes scoring drive that gave Auburn the 31-28 win in TS.

If the US has “Total Control” of the Strait then why are we having to sneak oil out? Total clusterfrick

Dude has turned into a warmonger just like W. Very disappointing but still 10000% better than the Kamala alternative.

I give him an outstanding rating for securing the border and liked the tax cuts in the BBB but was against the adding to the debt. Loved the deportations but hated that they seemed to have moved away from mass deportations since Minneapolis. I personally don’t care if you haven’t broken any laws other than illegal border crossing. My preference is to deport every single person here illegally. Don’t care about the sob stories, gtfo.
Most disappointed that he has pivoted to foreign policy stuff instead really focusing on improving day to day COL for Americans. Extremely irritated by his promoting 500k Chinese student visas. All we need is more Chicom spies running around.
Not a fan of the Iran war and feel he should have cut the creeps in Ukraine off day 1. Honestly, if I had my way, I’d cut all foreign aid to everyone.
End rant

re: So, who's the worst president ever?
Posted by Complete Linebacking on 4/10/26 at 1:43 pm to Lutcher Lad
In my lifetime it’s Biden. But the problem is we’ve had 2 more extremely bad ones in Bush Jr and Obama. Unfortunately, bad Presidents seem to outnumber the good.
