Text messages released by House committees late Thursday revealed that Trump administration officials sought to use a White House meeting between Mr. Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart as leverage to press the Ukrainian government to pursue an investigation into Mr. Biden and other matters. The messages show that U.S. officials coordinated with aides to the Ukrainian president and Rudy Giuliani, Mr. Trump’s private lawyer, on a draft statement in which Kyiv would announce an investigation into Mr. Biden and the 2016 U.S. election—at the same time as announcing a visit by the Ukrainian president to the White House.
The messages also reveal concerns by a top U.S. diplomat in Ukraine that Mr. Trump was seeking to use a hold on nearly $400 million in U.S. aid to Ukraine—which the president imposed a week before his July call with his Ukrainian counterpart—for political purposes.
Starting to make sense now why Pelosi decided to go forward.

Doesnt matter how journalists feel the conversation went in their subjective opinion. You'll just have to swallow the facts aren't in your favor.

There is not, nor will there ever be a formal impeachment. What Pelosi did was open and investigation and made up the term "impeachment inquiry" to protect her left flank from the insane libtards that make up much of the Dem party. And her efforts blew up spectacularly

An administration isn't allowed to investigate a past VP who did questionable things while in that position ?

The current president of Ukraine said you saw the call, he didn’t “push me.” We can all read the transcript and see it wasn’t blatant like that. That’s not a revelation.

Nowhere in that quote do I interpret it to asking about Biden the potential candidate for president in 2020. However, I do surmise the asking of questions on Biden the vice president of the previous admin for any hanky-panky he might be responsible for while holding that office.

Sure do. Trump hasn't "pushed" anything. He asked a simple question without the pressure you allude to. You guys are the ones who twisted a simple question into a hard interpretation of what that question was. Remember, Obama said some nasty things about Trump that Trump didn't appreciate. I think Trump presently is working his way up the ladder in order to take down Obama. Political "I'll get even with him eventually" scenarios take time. Payback doesn't happen overnight.
