This story and resulting suspicion surrounding Biden & Biden was already in the public consciousness prior to Trump's convo with Uk's president. NYT even outlined the potential problem for the Bidens in a rather exhaustive piece back in 2016. So it was already out there for Trump to use at will....
Add to that the fact that a Ukrainian investigation could actually result in exoneration of the Bidens thus taking away from Trump the ammo he currently has against Biden...
Add to all above the high improbability that the amount of time between the Trump-Uk pres convo and November 2020, essentially 1 year & 3 months, the improbability that an investigation of this gravity and complexity would even be concluded in such a relatively small timeframe....
In what world does it make sense that Trump did what's alleged?

How can you write an article based on nothing but hearsay (not one sliver of firsthand evidence) and expect to be take seriously?

He's one man versus many, many men and women who are pulling out all the stops to take him down. The weight of the FBI and intelligence world teamed up together, essentially every Democrat in Congress, lengthy investigation by Robert Mueller and a large team of attorneys and investigators with basically unlimited resources, leakers and turncoats from within....all of those together haven't been able to take him down. And he's still able to be energetic, popular with a huge amount of voters, remains solid with his base, and able to push his agenda forward to the furthest extent possible given the relentless obstruction.
