They’re all crooked as hell.
Would be interesting to know if any posters out there still genuinely feel and believe that DC (R or D) is legitimately representing the American people in this day and age.
I think DC mainly represents the interests of DC.

Absolutely!!! We should punish those responsible for putting them into their positions.....
Oh, wait... that's we the people who elect these sell outs into office.
Nobody around here likes to talk about that. Just sayin

Thune is a royal POS. All of the illegals must go home! While we are at it, let the illegals take Thune & his family along for the ride.

Your 100% correct. Any person with a functional brain understands that those weak arse, greedy, sold out bitches that we the people elect are selling us out.
The only logical remedy is that we the people vote for different folks in Congress.

When my Dad starts bitching about politicians I tell him to let it go
Not a single one of them gives a shite about anyone but themselves
It could be a councilman for a town with a population of 20 with the thought of making the world a better place, before it’s all said & done they are going to get greedy & be in it for themselves only

I've been not-so-subtly drawing a distinction out loud since 2020.
Yes, I am a conservative that used to be a Kennedy Democrat, and I was driven to conservatism through both the passage of time and the steadily increasing insanity of the left. So I identify with the GOPe, right?
Well, what they say out loud, sure. In principle I am aligned with the party that represents conservatism. But outside of a handful of people in the House like APL, Burchett and Gill, and NONE in the Senate (except sometimes Tuberville), they say all the right things but ultimately pass the exact same agenda as the Marxist Dims. The GOPe faction of Congress is controlled opposition.
Look how quickly they'll step up to bat and do everything they can to pass an extension of FISA spying, which the slight majority of Americans opposes, while they'll punt over and over again on the SAVE Act which is an 80/20 issue across the board. The fricking Senate is on a "pro tempore" vacation right now, why? Because going on actual recess would allow Trump to carry out recess appointments to fill the positions for which he selected nominees 18 months ago.
Left and Right in Congress... You cannot possibly despise them enough.
/Rant.

The people of South Dakota should recall his sellout arse. He should be forced to come home and face his constituents, with pitchforks. He clearly cannot stay as leader in the Senate.

Their only fear is getting booted from office instead of what it should be.

I guarantee Rick Scott has received more than Thune from those groups.

Could be but Thune was a lobbyist before he became Senate Majority Leader.

I am sure he took more money and direct blackmail threats as well.
What is anyone going to do about it?
