If you don't know what $5,000 dollars will do for little ol me then stop taxing my arse every year since it obviously won't help the gubment.

Dude the were handing it out already. It is a wash.

Unless they come up with a shite ton more saving 5000 is to much.

Like I said before this was ever put forth by Trump. Give back a portion. say 10 to 20 percent. This will put people on your side and at the same time drive demand for more cost cutting as it will result in a annual budget with a surplus. Can't just cut fraud. Need to cut spending. And CONGRESS controls spending. This will light a fire under their arse to make the govt smaller and more efficient.

For every cut from shite that has no effect on you, you get a bigger check.

This dumb bitch exposes what all Democrats and progressives think: that money doesn't belong to the taxpayer. It's the government's rightful property.

We have to cut 1.8 Trillion to have a balanced budget. No extra money beyond the tax cuts discussed during the election should be on the table. More cash means more demand which means more inflation. Cutting the debt and budget will help lower interest rates which will help reduce the debt. Let’s not pat ourselves on the back over a few hundred billion as crazy as that sounds.

And this f*cking c*nt would be the first one to say that $5,000 isn’t nearly enough to give every criminal illegal alien coming into this country.

Government spending causes inflation.
Printing money causes inflation.

Tax reparations do not.

If you watch today’s presser- this was exactly discussed.

Well, it is stupid to just use it as a political ploy to give it back and then simply cause even more inflation as others have mentioned, while doing nothing to bring down the debt.

The best thing to do would be to use it to pay down the debt, and save Americans money in the long run by preparing an actually balanced budget.

But that wouldn't be their style. Trump has no problem giving people free money, especially if he can use it as a political tool, even if that means costing them in the long run.

This is not unique to Trump, but is ironic given his statements to try and stop the very thing they are considering doing.

So I guess we can put her down for a “NO” on reparations.

$5000 is now not a lot for a single person in America? That’s her argument

A) If someone robbed Crockett and she demanded the robber give it back, would she accept "Sorry, I don't give out money" as an answer and let it go? I think not. It's not "giving out money" it's returning it to the taxpayer

B) Yeah $5000 isn't life changing money but seriously, you don't think a $5000 boost would help a lot of people out? Even in LA or NY that's 2-3 months rent. That'd be almost 5 months of mortgage payments for me. It's certainly not nothing.

Ultimately I'm down if they don't do this and try to chip away at the debt instead, but I also understand the optics of it could help voting in the midterms and 2028 (which is probably the real reason why this chick is opposed to it)

Guess she won’t mind if we end SSI, Section 8 vouchers, WIC, and SNAP then, since she doesn’t support giving out money.

In a vacuum, sure, but there are many more variables to consider. If we’re simultaneously deporting 10 million illegal Mexicans and Venezuelans then the demand adjustment will more than make up for it.
