Corruption (no bid contracts to his buddy’s) coupled with complete incompetence with execution followed up with spending way more to put bandaids on what they broke and the taxpayers pay for all of it.

It’s a swamp that resists cleansing no matter how hard Trump tries -

So, yes.

I don't always get irrationally angry about politics, but when I do it's over something dumb like a water feature.

This whole situation is so stupid.

(1) Bidding out government contracts doesn’t always get you the best option, either, since they generally go with the lowest bidder and not the best bidder.

(2) The reflecting pool and other monuments/parks were in need of repairs. There should be no issues on either side with trying to repair and make our nation’s capital look great.

(3) It’s literally insane that people would rather see Trump catch an L than have our capital look better. There are reports of people actively trying to sabotage the pool.

(4) The amount of coverage this reflecting pool gets is also insane compared to other instances of legit government fraud, waste, and abuse.

His buddy? The owner has already stated he doesn’t know Trump, has never met Trump or worked for Trump.

This is the gayest non-story of the year. Naturally that makes it a hot topic for leftists.

Water analysis by the Nat'l Park Service indicates a high amount a nitrates in the water. Almost as if someone decided to dump a little fertilizer in it after it opened. Wonder who may be responsible for that "decisive" action?

Who is his buddy? Give his name and cite their connection. (Hint: you won’t. Because you’re opining from a place of complete ignorance. As per usual).

Do you think the contractor won’t be fixing it? You haven’t dealt with a lot of contracts, have you?

His buddies? It was a coating company based out of Oklahoma City that did the work. They have never worked for Trump before and he has zero connection to company
