Forreal. Pretty sure some of these posters would let Trump bang their wife if he wanted to.

No offense, but what has Jr. ever done in his life to make you think he is remotely qualified to be VP? This seems to be hero worship and coronation of royalty and weird.

But he tweets things that make me feel good!

Is Trump still a resident of NY?
You can’t have 2candidates from same state.

No, buttfrick, I realize that WE NEED Trump for 4 more years, then Desantis for 8 more after that. IF The Donald decides not to run in in 2024, then I'll vote Desantis. If he runs and isn't the gop nominee, then I'll write Trump in.

This is all moot though, because Trump would win the nomination if he ran against Desantis. I think it'll be worked out between the two for Desantis to take 2028 and 2032.

It’s really that simple.

1.) Trump would beat Desantis if he were to decide to run

2.) Trump would bad mouth him like every other Republican in 2016. Desantis doesn’t need that.

His best play is to wait it out until 2028.

If trump runs the left will win.

What makes you think anything will be different? Everyone knew what was going to happen and with Trump as president the republicans in charge of the senate and scotus nothing was done in fact they may have assisted.

Well that’s different. Clearly VP in the making.

This. Delusional to think otherwise.

I’m not so sure of this anymore. If you put the two head to head on a debate stage you get the same irreverence towards the people who deserve it, but one both has a substantially greater command of the actual issues and doesn’t shoot himself in the foot. Developing the playbook for others to emulate was incredible but today he brings nothing to the table that DeSantis can’t duplicate without any of the baggage.

Trump’s going to cost the GOP the Senate with his trash PA Senate pick, and if he found himself imminently losing to DeSantis, he would scorch earth him on the way out to spite people he doesn’t like. His support of nominee DeSantis would be lukewarm if at all despite what’s at stake. That kind of person doesn’t belong leading any movement. I’m convinced there’s enough people outside of RINOs to know that Trump simply isn’t the better option anymore, and the sooner he’s off the radar for good the better the GOP chances. DeSantis + the 2024 Senate map is a genuine chance at 55+ seats

That said I won’t be surprised if DeSantis punts to 2028 so he doesn’t have to deal with the baggage

Is it really? You think Biden is a better candidate than DeSantis?

Unless you are LBJ. Worked out very well for him. Almost as if it was planned.

DeSantis does the heavy lifting for Trump (governing) and provides organization.
Trump would spend 4 years treating Desantis like a dog. Probably call him "Pence".

Trump/DeSantis 2024 followed by DeSantis for 8 more years.

I think Superman/Batman in 2024 and Batman/SpiderMan for the next 8 years. This is actually just as realistic as your suggestion.

First, neither Trump nor DeSantis would consider a VP run. Second, the Dems will win at least one of those elections.

At some point any sane person would start to question someone who makes continious bad decisions.

John Mccain?
Mitt Romney?
Bill Barr?
Jeff Sessions?

And thats just a start. I love what the man done as president but at some point you gotta admit the man is prone to appoint anyone that slobs his knob
