The best thing for DeSantis would be to be VP or hangout in Florida until 2028. If he runs now he risks being tainted. I’m almost 100% certain Trump only wants 4 more years, and DeSantis could easily step in at that point if he were already VP.

I’ve been saying since the 2020 election Desantis and Trump HAVE to come together and figure it out. Either run together or Desantis let trump run or trump let Desantis run etc.
The splintering and the primary battles with those two going head to head would be a disaster. If they put their heads together we can get 12 years out of this or if they try to do battle with each other they can screw it all up for 2024.

People here can't accept it. It's so weird. I don't get it. He has VERY conservative ideals (like Buckley) at his very core when it comes to government intrusion but is open to moving forward on, at least, having conversations about the environment, etc. (as we should be). He is a military guy too. Everything he does is based on those things. That is it. Period.
