Agreed.
Me and my homies have set up shop in the backyard to replenish.
You have to replenish.

In our war games with China we run out of conventional munitions within 4 weeks.
Can you post your source for this please ?
TIA.

Does every parking lot contain people that make tomahawks?

What do you think the annual production rate of tomahawk missiles is?
It's not at a rate where using 850 a month is sustainable
You don't know anything about manufacturing if you think it's simple to ramp up this type of production
What you'll probably see is more selective targeting. The first phase was always going to be the shock and awe phase where the burn rate is much higher. Even if we did have an infinite supply of missiles targeting would have become more selective and the burn rate goes down.

You mean after we’ve destroyed anything of importance?
And the skies are so safe we can fly warthogs or drop any bomb we want

The Pentagon
Don't take my word for it. Hegseth mentioned it in a Shawn Ryan interview.

Thank you for the hot investment tip.

Thanks I’ll watch.
I assumed it was true based on how factually it was stated.
Which is why I TIAd the confirm source
Doesn’t seem overly dramatic. Especially when you assume ability to replenish
After all. Look what damage was created in 4 weeks here

Yeah that's the short form version of the clip. I didn't feel like digging around all day.
In that one he doesn't talk specifically about the ammunition issue.
I'll see if I can find another source that mentions that and update
WSJ - US Ammo shortage is worse than you think
The rest is behind a paywall but you get the gist of the idea
That was from March 20th of this year so not a stale article where conditions have significantly improved.

The conflict with Iran is an urgent reminder that the U.S. needs a defense industrial base that can wage a high-intensity war against American adversaries—especially China. The Trump administration has taken important steps to increase production of some munitions, reform an antiquated acquisition system, and establish incentives for private-sector innovation. It is critical now to accelerate these changes.
There have rightly been growing calls to increase stockpiles of long-range munitions for precision strikes, as well as munitions for Patriot, Thaad, and other air-defense systems. But the challenge is much bigger than Iran. The U.S. lacks enough munitions to support its war plans if a protracted conflict with China, Russia or North Korea arises.

If we are using ours up, how does Iran still have enough?
Do they have a missile making industry to help replenish?

Appears we have 3-4k in stock before the war and shot 850 so far.
We make about 90-100 per year. So we have shot about 8 years of production though I suppose that can be ramped up. But ramped up to what 125-150 a year?

So let me make sure I have this right.
We shouldn't be in Iran because they will rebound and replace their army, navy, missiles, drones, and all the factories they use to make them very quickly, but we will be years away from replacing our munitions that we used to bomb them back to the stone age.
Is that about right?

Which one is worse;
Somali fraud in Minnesota may cost $1 billion to $9 billion.
Israeli fraud in getting us to attack Iran costs $2.5 billion in Tomahawk missiles alone.
They both disgust me.

Trump has really checkmated himself
We either:
A. leave now and get a D+ shite sandwich that he tries to spin
B. Get into a new forever war that definitely be an F- short term (1 year min) and likely an F- for the long term as well.

We’ll mark you down for never-Trump then. In pencil. So we can switch you back over in a day or two. Again.

Yeah, I saw Pape on Daniel Davis Deep Dive this week. My worry is he said when DJT puts troops in place, he is going to spend the currency of that buildup.
