It was Tony from Kill Tony. If anybody took that seriously they need to have their head examined.

Are you saying I’m the only one wrong about Ed O? Come on man. He hit lightning in a bottle and fell apart right after.

One of my best friends is hardcore Puerto Rican here in Nashville and he was laughing about it.

I don't think there is anything wrong with holding two opinions at the same time: - It was a joke, it's unlikely to practically impact anything, it's a double standard to get all worked up about it. - It's dumb to rock the boat even in the slightest when genuinely every metric is moving your way.

Don’t worry.

At the next rally they’re gonna have a guy make a bunch of black jokes.

There’s a huge Puerto Rican population in Philadelphia.

My experience as well. Most of the PRs I know want to get the frick out of there.

Democrats are desperately forcing it to be a thing

And by “thing” they want Hispanics who have never been to Puerto Rico to flip their vote or stay home because a comedian told a joke at a Trump rally

Ok

This is just as bad as FLTech getting on Twitter and finding one Puerto Rican who thought it was funny in order to make the point that it everything is OK.

I think the joke maybe went a little far, but its not gonna turn the election. Trump may have some patching up to do with Puerto Ricans, but it’s pretty clear all the outrage on this is driven by white liberals that hated him anyway. I don't think this is going to change any minds, especially those of voters driven by things like the price of food.

We are good friends with the coaches. Travel together on weekends to tournaments. Spend a lot of time together. Close enough that we have discussions about politics. I text this morning asking what they thought about the joke as far as it concerned the PR population here because I was interested from that perspective. I thought people here would find it discussion worthy but my bad for saying anything. I did not expect so much vitriol.

I view it as an unforced error. Absolutely no upside to it. Probably won’t affect anything, but just really dumb.

This is why comedy is dying. People need to lighten the frick up.

At a Tim Walz rally, George Lopez said Trump better build the wall in a single day because if he leaves the materials overnight, Mexicans will steal it all.

Totally (d)ifferent though.

Brother I am not trolling.

So i'm supposed to believe that:

A) You organically texted your sons "3 Puerto Rican coaches" and all 3 happened to have been watching the Trump rally?
B) That the 3 coaches who were watching a trump rally became incensed at a joke?
C) And those 3 coaches, who were likely MAGA anyway because they were watching a Trump rally, will now vote for Kamala because of a joke?
D) and that based on the opinions of the 3 puerto ricans you are collecting for this story, that all of puerto rico is angry about the joke enough to vote for the leftist?
E) and that your 3 puerto ricans who came to america to get away from leftist authoritarian rule, ideals are so flighty that 1 singular joke that was accurate about PR being a shithole, thus the reason your Puerto Ricans are here, will now switch their vote?

You are a pathetic liar, and it's so easy to see. Next time, before you lie about "bros, i'm totes MAGA, but i have concern" you should maybe craft your lie better seeing that just this morning, we've watched at least 4 "but i has concern" threads get exposed. Stop being a dumbass.

Too many posters on here are of a closed mind to the idea that Trump's campaign can screw up. They are too psychologically defended to hear of it. It was enough of a problem that the campaign distanced itself from the joke.

Now, if someone changes their vote because of the joke, there will be some, they are really stupid people.

Definitely not going to turn the election. Just hate it’s not going to help with republicans in PR that are trying to make things better there.

It may have been a mistake to have Hinchcliffe speak. It is quite a stretch to see this having an impact. And as always, Democrats will overplay their hand with this.
