The flip flop every 2 years is intentional

Government only exists to exist. Everything is bullshite. Both sides are glad to trade boogeymen to raise money on. They don’t care about us only themselves, their power, and their investment accounts.
I’m sure Ilan will be arrested any minute.

It’s true. What was the last major piece of meaningful legislation passed?

Yep. Can’t ever let one party get too powerful for their corporate overlords. They can exert maximum leverage this way.

Buyer's remorse is real. It is almost as if both parties suck

This is the last chance we’ll ever get to vote in elections, bro.
Whoever wins is gonna pass a law that it’s illegal to vote or have elections after this.

Let me correct this for you. This flip flop was extremely avoidable
Posted on 11/3/26 at 7:01 pm to tilco
Correct.
The vast majority of the parties "fighting" each other is theater.
Elections give you the illusion that you have a say. But the powers that be continue to control the system no matter who wins, and that's why nothing meaningful ever gets done, at least in Congress anyway.

But this time the democrats have added a little flip to the flop... socialism and muslims...

Seems like SCOTUS is more important than congress
Which is why holding the Senate was so important
Start kissing some rights goodbye in a couple years

Correct. Unhappy with the Biden term so Trump and republicans were voted in. They’ve done nothing so now back to Dems.

Republicans suck and Democrats blow.

Yup. Fact is most politicians are more centrist in their personal leanings. They simply perform for the masses to drum up support.
Oh, I don't care that this guy is a crook because he told me he is fighting to keep the government from making all our children trans.
Bring back competence of administration with sensible budgets and competitive economic policies. Actually enforce antitrust regulation for once and maybe encourage trade instead of stifling it with tariffs.
The price fixing my the legalized cartels is the main problem today. Telecom? Cartel. Food and agribusiness? Cartel. Freight and transportation? Cartel.

Home boy it’s over and if they win the presidency it will be swift. A filibuster proof Senate would have irreparable consequences
Posted on 11/3/26 at 7:09 pm to tilco
Presidents do not succeed other presidents of their party since 1988.

Everyone is fine with this arrangement as long as their team has the ball.

Republican candidate for La senate didn’t even campaign. Meanwhile the broke Democrat candidate is running a multimillion dollar campaign with thousands of paid campaign workers.
It’s all so controlled.

Just a tool in the toolbox. When it becomes inconvenient the democrats will “come back to the middle”.
