True story, while at the local warehouse store there was a couple checking out in front of me. They had a huge Bluetooth speaker that filled half the cart standing about 4 foot tall. The rest of the cart was maybe a 100 bucks in food. Their EBT card wouldn't work so they used cash for the speaker and left the food The speaker was $170.00. I'm sick of the belly aching.

It's not terrible but it's not great either. We are kind of in a stagflation.
Prices have continued to rise during the Trump administration. Yes, some of it is due to the oil problems. I get it. However, inflation still running around 3% and that is not as small as it sounds. You go to the grocery store and keep seeing prices rise. Cars are costing well over $60,000, which is crazy. Look at the price of housing. It is coming down a little but look at it.
Prices aren't rising as fast as under Biden but still rising. Blame Powell for not raising rates. Tariffs haven't helped either.

People complain because the things above may very well alienate voters. That does not mean they vote for the dem but they could opt out and that is a lost vote for the R on the ballot. That’s risking a lot this year considering who the Dems are trotting out there. There’s no doubt their base will be voting, early and often, so let’s try not to piss off the voters that we need to win elections.

The actual delta is the difference in real portfolio growth at current inflation rates (~45%) vs old lower rates (~48%) over the past 16 months.
