What are you some kind of boot licking chuck?

Man was defending his apartment against an unknown assailant with a legal gun.

You hate the second amendment or something?

After announcing and knocking so loud that others heard it.

BTW... you don't get out of bed, arm yourself .. move to a point to see the door and shoot them breaking in the door. You know it and I know it.

He already had his 9mm, had it aimed at them in a stance... not running toward the sounds.

He heard the announcement. He heard the knock.

We don't get the change the facts to attack a practice not used in this case. Like I stated... you want to talk no knocks, we are going to agree to a large extent.

There’s zero evidence Taylor was dealing drugs either. So not sure of your point.

The police did announce themselves and knock. He should be prosecuted at least for attempted murder of a police officer. The the friggin neighbors heard the police, we are expected to believe people inside didn't? We are expected to believe he died a warning shot into the cops femoral artery?

After announcing and knocking. The guy had enough time to get from his bed, get a gun, move into position and take aim prior to the door being busted down.

That says he knew they were there and he heard the announcement.

If he doesn't hear "police" and shoots at people invading his home, on what planet is he liable?

One neighbor said that, multiple said they didn't hear anything.

Not according to neighbors who I would trust more than the cops in this situation since not surprisingly they didn’t turn on their body cams.

Not true at all. Witnesses heard it and it matched the police testimony.

No no... There are facts that drugs were being moved through her home.

They knocked.

Next?

So what? Walker has testified he heard pounding on the door but he says he did not hear the announcement it was police in the confusion of the moment.

That seems a very plausible explanation for why he shot at the intruders considering the circumstances of the raid.

That Walker called Police 911 himself to report the shooting of Taylor certainly seems to corroborate his claim that he did not realize it was police who were the intruders.

No. There aren’t. Or the DA’s office wouldn’t have made a plea offer to the dealer to implicate Breonna.

But one did... and that's all that's needed to confirm it.

Second is the fact that the guy was already in position, in a stance with the 9mm raised. Again... moved out of bed... into position.. stance .. gun raised ... ready to shoot... prior to the door coming down.

That's not how this works lol. Hell even if they did, that doesn't mean the people inside heard it too.

This easily could be the result of a tragic misunderstanding.

Everything I’ve read has the boy friend acknowledging he heard someone banging on the door. However, I haven’t read any reports where neighbors said they heard police identifying themselves.

This whole situation sucks on a lot of levels. It shows the level of danger these raids unnecessarily create. Also, there is a lot of evidence that shows Taylor was likely involved in or at least used by dealers she was associated with. There are recorded conversations that allude to her involvement and a dealer using her mailing address. The sketchiest part is the dead dealer in her rented car.

Perhaps she truly had been trying to escape the hood through education and a good career. What’s sad is that the real issues will be lost because of the racial tensions.

Edited to correct statement about Walker.

Kenneth Walker has no record and is not suspected of any connection to selling drugs.

False.

Taylor allowed a known drug dealer — Jamarcus Glover — to use her address to conduct his banking business and she also allowed Glover to borrow her car. But no evidence has emerged that implicated Taylor in drug dealing.

You’re correct. Getting Walker and Glover mixed up.
