This all started two years ago when Abbott, Paxton and Patrick advanced all the 10 commandments in schools, vouchers, abortion stuff and reporting doctors, no weed. Exploded with inflation, ice, opposition to rural data centers, elon shite, etc.

They were stupid and arrogant, like trump.

They couldn't debate and were left to run scare ads. No policy

They were left with the old evangelical crowd. A moderate conservative still wins future elections

Lesson learned. Much more than demographics.

It’s the economy. People vote their pocketbooks and forget that two years ago the Dims had no solutions.

It’s more than just the economy in Texas. Dan Patrick and Greg Abbott have not been listening to what the people in this state actually want and have passed unpopular policy over and over again. Have fricked up handling of natural disasters too many times. And have fricked over public schools for too long. It’s not just the Californians that moved here. Lots of people who have been in Texas their entire lives have reached their breaking point with this states leadership, what is going on with the economy and Trump just put them over the edge.

Honestly all that shite made me ask "Is any of this shite real?!". Literally every term both parties playing into each others hands after obnoxious acts. As if it was like a staged play or WWE.

Do you think that Abbott bending the knee to Indians and Muslims played a part?

Did Texans see the invasion and watch Abbott do nothing?

So the Democrats run by becoming more Christian like/light and you say Republicans lost because they were too Christian, 10 Commandments which makes no sense

Demographics is destiny. Texas used to be 80 percent white. Now it’s sub 40. And Abbott did a lot of that himself. But you can’t say anything about it or you’re racist.

Makes me think this was the method to the cali madness.. mass exodus naturally to conservative states with no state taxes… the purple blue reaults would naturally follow.

This is exactly why I fcking HATE Abbott. I held my nose and voted for him… but under his watch, North Texas became saturated with H1-B’s.

My son’s middle school in flipping Prosper Texas is 70% Indian.

I will be positioning the Town of Prosper to change our name to New Bangalore.

The American Dream should be reserved to Americans.

a pro life agenda isn’t a reason why republicans lost Texas last night. I agree with your overall stance though.

Economy is definitely a part but I believe there is more to it than just the economy and republicans need to acknowledge that or else this is going to become normal. The white suburban mom and teachers absolutely HATE Abbott with a fiery passion.

My wife is a teacher, her and most of her teacher friends don’t know shite about politics. They all hate Abbott because since he has been governor public education has been cut over and over again and then the voucher shite was extremely unpopular but passed anyway.

Also don’t discount the disaster that was the handling of SB3. The THC ban couldn’t have been more obvious they were being bought and paid for by the alcohol lobbyists. Smokable hemp is banned but you can still buy THC seltzers because they are sold by alcohol distributors. Make it make sense that you were actually looking out for Texans best interest there Dan Patrick and Greg Abbott. Not to even mention the way that went where SB3 got vetoed after being so unpopular but then you do the same thing that bill was going to accomplish through the back door of rule changes with DSHS.

While I hate that my state has turned blue, and this is not the outcome I would have hoped for - now that it's happened, I say good riddance to these three.

Talarico Won Hundreds of Thousands of More Votes than Kamala Did in 2024 – How Does That Happen?

Talarico has now received over 200,000 more votes than Kamala in 2024!

He has more than 5 million votes! Where did they come from?

These are absolutely shocking numbers that pundits will ponder for days to come. How does a weird guy who never worked and is a far-left state senator field so many votes in a US Senate race in an off year- in Texas?
