Evidently you just listen to rhetoric spewed on CNN and don't know the law or real life.
Companies are required to allow their employees time off to go vote. They will not fire anyone who goes to vote.
Please quit listening to CNN talking heads who sit around and make up shite

Typical talking point
Republicans in this state clearly want to attempt to shrink the electorate with these bills. They cannot handle more people regardless of race voting considering that Democrats were 5 seats away from getting the majority in the house in TX after this past election. If fewer young and elderly people are encouraged to vote, then that gives Republicans a better chance at winning future elections. Democrats are not the ones trying to gain a competitive advantage in the elections here

What? Even if what you posted is true (it's not), walking out is maintaining their competitive advantage. It's basic logic.

So let me get this straight...you have issues with state legislatures fortifying the state rules, that all have to abide by, to prevent fraud in non-election years, but no problem with election rules being changed on the fly by people not legally able to, months prior to a major presidential election??
This about sums it up for all dims.

I assume that you would want to retain the filibuster then since it protects minority rights and prevents a majority from ramming through legislation at the expense of the minority.

The republican logic is to make sure those kind of people can’t make it to the polls before they close, and can’t vote by mail.
No, the “Republican logic” is to make sure the person for whom the mail-in ballot was sent is actually doing the voting.

See y’all Dems in the September Special Session.

I believe the argument would be that urban/lower income areas don't have a porportional numbers of voting precincts, which in turn leads to longer lines as opposed to suburban areas. The drive-thru & after-hours voting allows for easier, faster, and wider access to these areas.
I can see the argument for after-hours voting, but don't see why a drive-thru voting set-up should be prohibited.

I read the bill.
Does it make voting more difficult? No.
Does it make cheating more difficult? Yes.
Therefore, if you are against the bill you are in favor of cheating. This is why the Dems are so fervently against the bill. It's not complicated at all.
I don't disagree with most of your points. But what's the harm in permitting drive-thru voting and 24-hour polling centers? By prohibiting these rather than embracing them, Republicans are fueling the narrative that they are attempting to restrict voting rights.
If Republicans want the high ground on election integrity, they should embrace more voting access such as these provisions.

I've explained the method of cheating before. Will try to keep it short.
The people inside the polling precincts are in on the deal. They know who has voted and who has not, on the big book. The cheating must come late. You will know who has not shown up and the cheaters come in and fill in the blanks.
That's why swing states go Dem very late. And it's why Dem precincts have 100% turnout when that's impossible.

Why don’t the republicans just act like democrats and just vote on it and pass it through even if they’re not there. Who gives a shite at this point??? They walk all over the constitution and our laws every day. Why are republicans still trying to play by the rules. JUST DO IT!!!!

This seems like something that can be overcome by collecting biometric data of every voter when they show up to vote or submit their ballot. One person, one vote. Voting as the wrong person would not only restrict a fraudulent voter from repeating that pattern, it would also make fraud detection and prosecution much easier, and as a result have a deterrent effect on frickery.

It has been asked, but again, how does the Texas law restrict voting rights? Explain. Lay it out. Make your case.
Oddly silent to your and my request for actual proof.

Lol. The left just constantly make shite up then throw their toys out the pram when they don't get to cheat.
