Thanks, plus you can put pigs in a pen . I've been by one of those big pig operations in NC. I will say this, after just being by them and the smell, made me avoid pork for a while.

I’m commenting on a topic on a political board on the internet. Same as you.
Yes, and your comment was that the difference between halal and kosher (after your failed “cuisine” argument) was that Jewish people don’t believe that kosher food is as American as apple pie. Effectively arguing that Muslims believe otherwise. Your evidence for the latter being….the statement of a single business owner with a clear financial motive.
If you are going to make poorly thought out arguments, don’t hide behind “hey, I’m just commenting on a thread.”

so a muslim guy is going to walk into a BBQ shop, full of pork products, and order a lamb sandwich that was grilled on the same equipment as a giant slab of pork belly and that counts as "Hallal"??
If Hallal is anything like "Kosher" then they would have to have separate kitchens, utensils, and dining areas.
Like vegans, much of this is performative.

Your post is incomprehensible balderdash.
I cede no failure in any one of my posts in this thread.
What exactly are you trying to say?
Posted on 8/21/26 at 9:28 am to TigerToGeaux
I don't eat at 'craft' bbq restaurants and I damn sure won't be eating at a place offer halal shite. Good luck to them.

You wouldn't know the difference between a smoked brisket that is halal, kosher or other. So you could say you won't, but how do you know you haven't already?

This says more about you. My posts in this thread have been very coherent and easy to follow. If you have trouble “comprehending” them, not sure how to help you.

Just let me know which line is incomprehensible to you:

Not sure how familiar you are with the demographics of Texas, but there is a reason why those halal restaurants are located in those particular areas.
Not sure you're a Texan at all. I am. frick these people.

The topic of this thread is the difference between kosher and halal? Must have missed that in the OP.
Your defense mechanism when called out for poor arguments is always “I’m just commenting.” Lol it’s cute

Looks like southerners aren’t into goat humper food.
Maybe it is because you kept me from posting for so long and I feel a bit chippy, but I disagree good sir.
Middle eastern food is pretty awesome and has inspired quite a few dishes both here and in Mexico. Hell, my favorite Mexican dish is middle eastern. Anyone who has ever had al pastor loves it. Same with tacos arabes.
Now the whole halal thing, I don't have an opinion, but we all knew if they came here the free market would create it.

You’ve skipped a few posts.
My original response in this thread said nothing about Kosher food. I believe it’s on page two if you feel the need to double check.
Did your mama drop you on your head?

Is there a thread you don't respond to? Dusk till dawn?

Does it matter?
There’s a pinned admin thread- see if you can ask them to limit my posts per day. Hell, my husband might even thank you.

I don’t begrudge any one that likes any particular food.
I’m not a fan of many of their staples. Greek is out for me too.
Olives nope
Tomatoes nope
I do like their skewered chicken. I eat some in CA from time to time. Not sure if they are officially halal.
ETA: even food Tizzied you MOT. Damn, Max.
