I literally said in my post that there would be a problem with a huge influx if Muslims. His statement that I never seen problem with Muslims is just an admission that he is illiterate.

Not according to this list.

Fully Halal-Certified Fast Food Chains

These chains serve halal meat across all or nearly all of their US locations. They were either founded as halal businesses or have adopted system-wide halal certification.

1. The Halal Guys

Founded: 1990 (New York City food cart)
US Locations: 100+ restaurants nationwide
Cuisine: American-Middle Eastern street food

The Halal Guys started as a single food cart on 53rd Street and 6th Avenue in Manhattan and has grown into one of the most recognized halal brands in the world. Every location serves halal-certified chicken, gyro meat, and falafel. Their combo platters with white sauce and hot sauce have become iconic. The chain is consistently ranked among the top halal food options in America.

Halal Certification: All meat is halal-certified. The chain was founded by Muslim owners specifically to serve the halal market.

2. Dave’s Hot Chicken

Founded: 2017 (Los Angeles, California)
US Locations: 700+ and growing rapidly
Cuisine: Nashville-style hot chicken

Dave’s Hot Chicken has become one of the fastest-growing fast food chains in America, and all of their chicken is halal-certified by Halal Transactions of Omaha (HTO) or equivalent Islamic certifying bodies. The chain was co-founded by Arman Oganesyan and has made halal certification a core part of its identity from day one.

Important caveat: While the chicken itself is halal-certified, sauces and side items are not individually halal-certified. Cheese and sauces may contain animal-derived rennet or enzymes. If this matters to you, ask staff about specific ingredients at your location.

3. Elevation Burger

Founded: 2002 (Falls Church, Virginia)
US Locations: 50+ locations in the US and internationally
Cuisine: Organic halal burgers

Elevation Burger serves 100% halal, organic, grass-fed beef at all locations. The chain was founded with the mission of providing a healthier, ethically sourced burger option. Their meat is certified halal and USDA organic, making them a unique option for consumers who want both halal compliance and organic quality.

Halal Certification: All beef is halal-certified. The company sources from farms that meet both organic and halal standards.

4. Crown Fried Chicken (Kennedy Fried Chicken)

Founded: Founded by Afghan American immigrants
US Locations: 100+ stores, primarily in the Northeast
Cuisine: Fried chicken, burgers, wraps

Crown Fried Chicken, also known as Kennedy Fried Chicken in some locations, operates over 100 stores serving halal chicken. The chain was founded by Afghan American entrepreneurs and is particularly popular in New York City, Philadelphia, and other Northeastern cities. Their menu is extensive and affordable, covering fried chicken, burgers, fish, and wraps.

Halal Certification: Most locations serve halal-certified chicken. Since these are independently owned franchises, always confirm halal certification at your specific location.

5. Naf Naf Grill

Founded: 2009 (Naperville, Illinois)
US Locations: 40+ locations across the Midwest and East Coast
Cuisine: Middle Eastern pita and bowl chain

Naf Naf Grill serves Middle Eastern-inspired bowls, pitas, and salads with halal-certified chicken and beef shawarma. The chain has expanded steadily across the US and is particularly popular in the Chicago, Washington DC, and Philadelphia metro areas. Their build-your-own format lets you customize your meal with a variety of toppings, sauces, and sides.

Major Chains with Halal Options at Select Locations

These well-known fast food brands are not halal system-wide, but specific franchise locations do serve halal-certified meat. Availability depends entirely on the individual franchise owner.

Subway

Some Subway locations, particularly in areas with large Muslim populations, source halal-certified meat for their sandwiches. There is no central Subway policy on halal certification, so you must verify directly with each location. Look for halal certification signs posted at the counter or ask staff to show you packaging with certification labels.

KFC

Select KFC franchise locations in the US serve halal-certified chicken. This is more common in cities like Dearborn, Michigan, and parts of New York City. Check with the specific location before ordering.

Popeyes

A small number of Popeyes franchise locations serve halal-certified chicken. This is not a company-wide policy. The franchisees who offer halal typically display certification at the point of sale.

What the frick do you think kosher is? It's dietary and cultural. It's actually more restrictive than halal.....and permitted for Muslims if halal is not available. Don't go to a kosher deli and ask for a beef sandwich with cheese, you'll get told off. Whereas a Muslim would ask you if you want two slices.

Please learn a little something, you are embarrassing yourself.

Muslims are clearly making an effort to dominate what they think is a major symbol of Americanism - Texas.

And isn’t claiming to be the new “American” standard.

You seriously don’t get the difference.

so a muslim guy is going to walk into a BBQ shop, full of pork products, and order a lamb sandwich that was grilled on the same equipment as a giant slab of pork belly and that counts as "Hallal"??

If Hallal is anything like "Kosher" then they would have to have separate kitchens, utensils, and dining areas.

Please, you have one restaurant owner in Seattle saying this because he wants to drum up business. You know what you can get in a halal place.....apple pie....so long as you don't make it with a pork lard....same with kosher. Go to Cajun Kosher deli, they make a mean one from what I remember.

Why would I stay up at night over what an owner of a business chooses to do?? it’s obviously not hurting his business

No one is staying up all night about Goldees, brah. They took a few seconds to comment about it on a message board. Goldees catering to Halal is only a minor symptom of a much bigger problem, which is what is keeping some people up at night... and it should be. If you're even remotely paying attention at all to what has been happening in Europe... and Dearborn, Michigan... Minneapolis... NYC...

And here you are carping on me and stanning for this “one restaurant owner”.

You’ve cursed me, insulted me, and now are saying, “well it’s just this one”… someone post the “you are here” chart, please.

Right now, and historically but I wonder why we don't raise more of it. It's good meat. Probably just as tasty as pork IMO.

There are a couple local lamb farms around where I live. They have booths at the farmer's market. I stock up. I love lamb. Dude with an elk farm is always there too. Elk beer brats are life changing.

Our own Constitution provided the opening for this to happen. And the recent SCOTUS ruling on birthright citizenship is only going to accelerate it. Abbot can't legally enforce a "no muslims in Texas" policy.

Pointing out your ignorance hurts, doesn't it? You in particular are making a big deal about one guy in Seattle making that comment, not me. I'm just saying it's not an outrageous comment. You're the guy who seems to be afraid of a Muslim guy cooking brisket the same way a Christian guy would .

Maybe you could tell me specifically what is wrong with halal vs. Kosher or the dirty way most of it is secured and prepared in this country.
