In a statement, the mayor’s office acknowledged the recent violence was “deeply unsettling” and confirmed city officials had met with residents to discuss safety concerns.
Is that the office of Mayor Titsonabull? She is worse than worthless. Her actions and non-actions appear to be very harmful.

The state took over control of St. Louis City‘s police department.
It hasn’t hurt. It has helped some. The city is fighting all measures the state is trying to enact to make the city safe.
Despite the fact that the city has lost over 5% of its population in 5 years.

We’re so fortunate to have Mr. Mensa here to remind us all that crime doesn’t exist in cities and states with Republican leadership ?
In our state a mall shooting happened and Republican leadership at least reacted to changing our shitty laws.
The Dems and your solution would be to not punish the criminal and strip the rights of everyone else.

You mean happened AGAIN, except this time one of Cubbies foot soldiers got an innocent teenager killed. There is much to celebrate here. This is called "winning" in the mind of a progressive.

That's because you are the enemy. You are less of a person because you desire safety in your community. YOU and your family need to be terrorized and eliminated. This is the mindset you are up against.

Is the mayor shooting guns on Aurora?
She may as well. Her policies of unarmed, first response “community members” and dismantling the city’s CCTV system are nothing more than criminal enabling.

Like a fence, or perhaps a wall, to keep out people who do not belong there out and to protect neighborhood residents from violent criminals?
Fascinating idea.

What other correlations should we be making?

The criminals just need more community programs and tax payer investment. We can do this.

Your approach does seem to be accomplishing … nothing? Maybe a few more years of shitposting will solve a societal problem. Keep up the good work.

Daniel Patrick Moynihan had this issue nailed in the early 1960s. If only the racist SOB in the Oval Office would have had an angel on his shoulder to guide him to listen.
