Listened to his speech . I really tried to identify who he was talking to. It certainly was not to myself , His problems over the last 20 years were Washington malfeasance not the boots on the ground . Biden has been in wash. for 50 years.
Boots on the ground was a catchphrase that Biden declared obsolete with new technology. That is contrary to very long term military think. Airplanes and ships can harrass only. Submission is far more up close

Kinda hard to harass an enemy just above Stone Age levels of tech too.
We bombed the frick out of the Ho Chi Minh Trail and the NVA would still have people going down it the next day on foot and with wheelbarrows avoiding the bomb craters.
That would have worked against modern army with good logistics but did nothing to stop a bunch of guys whose idea of R and R was rice and rat meat.

Sorry to the people fricked up by Ida, but this should be put back on the OT. This is beyond politics. I know my Help Board thread was deleted, but there’s no point for this thread in the Poliboard. This needs to be moved back. As bad as what is going on down with the people that live there, this needs to be on the OT. This is more important than Ida, especially (as bad as it is) since it’s nowhere near Katrina. This thread needs to be transferred to the OT.

You are absolutely right.
Those people affected by Ida will recover in time but the US of A will never recover from this debacle. The president leaving American to sure death and then blaming his predecessor for it is unforgivable and unconscionable. The bum is also counting allie's as his own.
