Some of it may have been. Wouldn’t be the first time that stuff has been done over the past 12 months in campaigns.
Talarico clamored the past couple months for a debate. No acceptance from Paxton campaign, but now we have President Trump calling for one, presumably on behalf of Paxton, and Talarico can’t be found.
Guess we now have a game of chicken on our hands. Is one of them going to bail out? Or will we get a debate in the next 10 or so days?
