They struck that balance but girlbosses weren't happy. Sometimes young men got rowdy. Maybe got into a fight or two. Drank a few too many with the boys. Didn't cry.

I worked for years with an uber-feminist single mother in her early thirties. I remember her talking about pushing his dad out of the picture and how she was raising him with feminist ideals. She talked about when he had questions in the car, she would find a place to pull over and talk about how what they were discussing made him "feel", so he could be more in touch with his feelings and not grow up to be like other men. shite felt like straight 100% child abuse trying to force feminist horseshite onto an eight year old boy. Poor kid is in his mid to late 20's now and I guarantee he's a basketcase weak dude that needs 100 hugs a day at work. .
