She has to say and vote that way because she’s from Maine. No matter what her personal political views are, it would be political suicide to stray from her RINO stance.

Well that's a productive way of her getting to vote yes on the nominee you support.

This kind of bullshite is what pisses me off to the nth degree.

We got all these screwed up SCOTUS decisions because of ACTIVIST judges.

There's likely too many in the democrat base in their states that would stay home if they voted for a nominee that wants overturn Roe.

Democrats up for reelection need their base fired up as much as possible while getting enough independents and GOP moderates.

Those that are willing to sacrifice children for votes should be thrown into the fires of Hell.

It's pathetic that it can't be left to the individual states. The Fed level is full of little dictators that want to stuff their regional beliefs down everyone's throat.

Is that really our goal? Is every really that concerned about abortion?

I want a constitutionalist that will defend our freedoms. I don't give a shite about Roe v. Wade.

Overturning Roe would be the reversal of an activist decision.

These people don't even know what they are talking about.

Why would someone who wants to overturn it get nominated? Susan Collins shouldn't have to say what she said

That's the goal of many people who don't want our country to support the legalized killing of our unborn out of convenience.

She's retarded cause anybody could just say they aren't going to vote against it then once they are on the court say they changed their mind.

Has this dumbass learned anything from 2016 (and subsequent elections)? GOP candidates who pander to or try to placate the Left are dead in the water. If she is seen stonewalling the preferred candidate of the conservative wing of the electorate she'll join the ranks of the unelected.

Somebody should tell Sen. Collins that it's "advise and CONSENT" not "advise and dissent."

Why would they admit they would overturn it?

All the nominee needs to do is lie, the way the Leftists do when they say they don't believe in legislating from the bench.

I wasn’t even privy on the particulars of Roe v Wade until this week and now I am fully aware of how perverted our courts have become in their function when compared to how they were intended to function

Reversal of a decision made of weak constitutional grounds should not itself be considered an activist position
