you can’t, but I think you probably can strike teachers and anyone who says they wouldn’t convict.

That only happened in the narrative she lives in, not in reality.

That's true, Sunny. That's why they didn't do that.

She, Ketanji Brown Jackson, Benjamin Crump, Sonia Sotomayor, and a couple of mutts on this board prove that you don't have to be very smart in order to pass the bar exam.

I'd be willing to bet that the CPA exam is more difficult. I've never met a stupid CPA.

Or someone added to the jury just because they're black.

She says this not having any clue how many black people showed up for jury duty and how many were actually in the pool of selectees. She has probably never answered a summons before.

The courts give defense attorneys and prosecutors alike pretty broad range in the striking of potential jurors.

Liberalism 101.

Where no problem exists, fabricate one and begin railing and arguing against it.

If someone says they’d have a hard time convicting they go off for cause. That apparently happened with several blacks during jury selection. Didn’t even have to burn a strike. When striking you just have to be able to articulate a race neutral reason.

After seeing the study that revealed blacks tend to vote for their team rather than the facts of a case, I'm cool with it.

You can't have a society with people who do that.

You can be black and have certain biases. You question the bias and strike based on that. Questioning jurors based on things they believe, their background, family, etc, weeds out that bias. If you are the prosecution, you don't want jurors who have criminals in their family. Conversely, the defense sees it differently.

I am guessing they answered a lot of the questions in biased ways that disqualified them but I wasn’t there so it’s just speculation and opinion just like hers
