You would have a great point if that were true. But it isn't. I have seen it posted where 2 out of 3 database searches are more inline with police stalking their ex.

Maybe, at least require a warrant to access the data. That would limit the abuse and help expose dirty cops. If they don't exist, the chance for abuse is zero.

My understandings is that Flock is often used for events that are in current motion and a warrant would not work in that situation. However, in situations like this the Flock data should be used as a piece of evidence for a warrant and not as a arbitrary reason for arrest.

A simple camera can do that. That's not the problem. Searching the database is the problem.

I guess mugshots are out, as well as fingerprints, and heaven forbid DNA evidence.

Prove it. ALPR has not been mentioned in a single crime solving news story in the Houston metro area that I've seen. Criminals that steal your shitty GMC/Chevy trucks, and steal wheels, etc just steal license plates from unsuspecting people owning a similar make/model and get away with it.

The point is guns dont cause gun violence and flock cameras do not cause the abuse. Its the users.
