States issue birth certificates. Could a state refuse to issue one to an anchor baby?

I don't see how a state could refuse but it would once again push the issue up to the courts

Don’t need a form of ID to vote anyway.

Blacks can’t get a form of ID. (so we are told)

No need to raise the bar on anchor babies.

The constitution seems pretty clear that if they are born they are a citizen of that state.

If it were that clear, the ruling would have been 9-0 yesterday

Bipartisan support is very rare these days. No normal person could read that text and think anything other than The obvious

Yes, say certificate only issued to legitimate births. Parents must be U.S. citizens.

Not going to waste time on you but you are a retard if you think it's that clear.

By this logic, the 2nd amendment is even less clear than the 14th. Heller was a 5-4.

All we need is an EO saying "guns are really dangerous y'all, the framers didn't foresee this!" and all guns are banned. Easy peasy

Best immediate plan. Cally, CO, NY, Illinois... will cheat until the cows come home no matter what. They should form their own Havana and leave us be.

Heller is binding, but the 5–4 split shows the issue was seriously disputed. Same point with the 14th Amendment. Binding law and “crystal clear text” are not the same thing.

The odd thing about your statement is that the Easter Bunny is as real as a pregnant man, but your side thinks the latter is real.

State would lose immediately and the law would only be in effect as long as it takes a paralegal somewhere to hit submit for the pre-drafted injunction.

States -- even the reddest of states -- will still issue birth certificates. Even if they stop, the feds will make them do it.

States should make it illegal for doctors and midwives to deliver anchor babies. Once a few of them die, people will reconsider their plans.

IMO, the solution is to cut off the incentives for adults to come here and have these babies.

It's not the baby's fault in any way and withholding things such as a birth certificate is the wrong path.

Need to apply pressure on their home countries and the adults who have the kids.
