Southern Baptist. Convention dropping the word " Southern"

Maybe the name "Baptist" offends someone too. Just change it to PC convention.

I’ve noticed the male leadership in many churches have turned into soyboy pussies over the past 15 years.

This seems way down the list of bad ones. Not only are they in 41 states, but they also explicitly named themselves "southern" as a pro-slavery, anti-abolition statement when they splintered from the northern Baptists.

They have been "woke" for like 25 years now - this isn't some kneejerk thing to what's happening in the immediate term.

I have no problem with this. Names change all the time.

Very disappointing. I think that's an extreme course of action.

That's okay. I've dropped the word "Baptist" when describing myself, because of the religion's shitty history of teaching lies, and so many of them being shitty, awful hypocrites, so we should be about even.
