You get see, in real time, the hyperbole ramping up.

Trump f'd around and found out. He crossed the media, daily, for years, mocked them, and you dare not cross them. They consider themselves the 4th branch of government (literally). They believe the 1A is their article in the constitution (not yours).

They want to make enough of a fuss to prevent him from establishing a special council for the Election Investigation and another to investigate Hunter Biden and the laptop from hell.
