Why didn’t on reporter have the balls last night to ask a question like this:
“Coach, I’m sure fans can respect your admiration and support of your players for the prep and the effort. But, what is your opinion on the prep and game time effort of your coaching staff?”
Actual value of tequila: 24,000 X $3.50 = $84,000
Remember Loose Radio well. Great album cut rock station. Signed off every night with this great song:

He had a structured settlement, but he needs cash now. :wah:

Bridge On The River Kwai
I was at the State Emergency Management HQ and a military reserve employee of the LA Office of Homeland Security showed me how to text that day. Of course, most of the people I needed to communicate with had never texted either.
I don’t understand the reasons for this level of opposition to this move.
- Is it because of hate for Landry and Nungesser and their kind?
- Is it because people truly believe that this project will save them from hurricanes and coastal erosion?
- Is it because some people were counting on jobs and income from the 3 billion dollar spending?
- Is it because people figure the billions will get spent anyway and they want it spent here (whether or not it’s cost effective).
I get resentment for special interest groups controlling government policy. But my resentment level if much worse of those special interests succeed spending 3 billion rather than succeeding in NOT spending 3 billion.

Or set outflows at certain heights in the levee so when the river is high it let's out water but not when it's low to minimize effect on the channel. Oh wait, that was what this project was.

And to do that would cost $3 Billion Dollars???

Only thing more boring and repetitive than that video is its soundtrack.

One day the gulf will be at Belle chase, Lafitte and Larose

And spending $3 billion dollars on this boondoggle would not have changed that fact.
BR traffic is way worse. The whole city is a shitshow, not just one main artery.
It’s not like the Audubon Bridge delayed or prevented a Baton Rouge bridge. BR would still be the same shitshow whether or not the Audubon Bridge had been built.

So be thankful that there is one place in this state that actually has modern infrastructure in place before it’s critically needed instead of 25 years after it was needed.
First they’ll ask you to explain what goes on in this place that they know nothing about. They’ll manage to grasp about 25% of that information and then they’ll tell you that you’re doing it all wrong.
About 90 minutes after the meat goes back in the pot and the tenderizing magic happens.
They could create more land by just converting the budget into pennies and dumping them into the bay.
