Deportations will have trickle down effects on spending. SNAP funding has been impacted by deportations coupled with new work rules. Enrollment decreased by 5.3 million less individuals receiving federal assistance. It’s progress and it’s just the beginning.

I witness these able-bodied folks every time I go to the grocery store. They always seem to have enough personal cash for cigarettes and liquor to ring up separately from their "essentials" like cake, soda, ice cream, and prime rib steaks.
