No, he should have finished the job when he had Iran on its heels and then snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by declaring a ridiculous ceasefire that let Iran regroup and assert de facto control of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran was on its heels when Trump was bombing Tehran and he foolishly took his foot off the gas.

Agreed... he heard that Geiger counter attached to fuel prices going off, thinking this was a way to have a Big Mac and eat it also.

I'm hindsight yes, probably so. It would take them nuking Israel for the general public to realize that they are a serious global problem.

The real problem is having an unstable nation who hates us having a choke hold on a huge chunk of the world's oil pipeline.

Trump is doing the right thing, in the right way. We're winning. Iran knew all they had to do was outlast the fickle American public till midterm, and they did.

A trip to the gas station and the grocery store beats a hypothetical nuke

But apparently in your estimation a lack of college education does...

30 years of it being imminent and suddenly...

Why is it more of a crisis than North Korea or Pakistan or Israel having one?

By what measure are we losing? They're blockaded. Their economy is in shambles. Their military is decimated. They've been eliminated as an effective fighting force for the near future.

Iran either needed to be dealt with, or you commit to letting the middle east and rest of the world sort itself out. Doing nothing was going to lead to full scale, potentially nuclear war between Israel and Iran. If we could stay out of that too, fine. That isn't a realistic expectation. To say nothing needed to be done is to say that we dont care what happens over there. I'm fine with that, but in reality that likely leads to boots on the ground in the middle east, and a true quagmire, at some point in the future.

Unquestionably, what happened last night, has set the stage for nuclear war in the Middle East. Why do I say that? The Islamo-Marxist DSA Democrats will absolutely allow Iran to acquire nuclear capability. And Iran and her proxies have made it clear they intend to destroy Israel. IMO that massacre on October 7,2023 was a test, a sort of bloody dry run.

There were warning signs. When I heard the results of that survey that found generation x'ers were fully willing to allow the destruction of Israel to occur in exchange for lower fuel prices, I knew our support for Israel was in trouble.

In order to defend itself against Iran and her proxies (who will soon acquire nuclear capability) Israel will be forced to use her nukes to defend herself.

This democrat debacle that occured yesterday, has soooo many tenacles.

Am I gloom and doom? Not really, but I am a realist. And Islam is NOT a peaceful religion.
