I'm torn.

They deserve to be heard, by everyone.

Also, my heart is tender and it's gonna hurt when I see them.

But- they deserve to be heard.

For disclosure, I did look on AI for insight on the matter and for murder offenses in the state of Texas it’s highly unlikely that he would get parole on his first hearing and the likelihood overall is around 30% for people convicted who receive early parole.

Metcalf got a death sentence. Honest Blacks should embrace this and it would go a long way towards addressing the runaway, murderous psychosis in much of their youth. And perhaps save a few lives. Or they can continue the current race dynamics and status quo of increasing violence.

Titanic >>>>Iceberg.

Black folks ought to tune in to current Belfast Ireland and consider the consequences of not policing racial hatred in their own and the violent expression thereof. Government policy nws. The ‘government’ can go away in the space of a week.

I thought that was the judge's job
From google AI (and what I read elsewhere):
quote:

Under Texas state law, a defendant has the unique right to elect whether a judge or a jury assesses their sentence. Anthony's defense team specifically requested that the jury handle the sentencing phase. Following his murder conviction on June 9, 2026, the same 12-person panel deliberated and ultimately sentenced him to 35 years in prison.

In Texas criminal procedure, a defendant must file a written election for jury sentencing before the trial begins.

After the jury came back so quickly (a very strong sign that they were fully confident in a "guilty" charge, and when it was for murder, not the lesser manslaughter charge) , I bet he really regretted leaving sentencing to the jury.

I believe he had Dots and Asians on his jury. They are not the biggest fans of blacks. An all a white jury may have included a few dumbass liberals who felt sorry for him.

They already did the victim impact statements.
Karmelo's mother was the only speaker. The Metcalf family had nothing to say.

In Texas the guilty party has a choice letting either judge or jury decide fate. He chose Jury.

No.

Were that so, Karmelo's mom wouldn't have been a speaker.

Why do we have to give a murderer 3 hots and a cot for 35 years? Why does the state have to pay a lawyer to spend 20 of those years appealing the case?

It is the biggest scam in America.
