Disappointing, 35/17.5 years eligible for parole.
Hope at least that POS serves every bit of it.

He won’t survive prison, unless there’s a special setup to protect him. There will be more than laying of hands , lol. He better check that entitlement attitude, too

Even in Texas, you don't imagine there's gonna be a board or a governor who lets him out after 17-20 years?
More like late 30's to 40. If he makes it that long.

This wasn't justice. 35 years isn't justice for this murder.
TX should've borrowed the same tent Austin was murdered in and the same knife the BLACK teen used and execute the BLACK teen in the same manner.
That would be justice.

He got 600k from a GoFundMe and could only afford a public defender? Lol

Ahh, ok. I have not been following the trial but knew I heard it was an all "White" jury.

I’m a little surprised he got that much. Just insane he doesn’t get the death penalty. We have lost so much of our civilization.

I’ll never understand how the sentence for murder in civilized society doesn’t start at life. That’s absolutely insane to me

Verdict is in...35 years with parole possible after serving half the sentence.
Murder should be life, MINIMUM. The piece of shite should hang, but we haven’t gotten our balls back enough for that yet.

As many gains as the black community has made over the last 70 years a lot of them still aren’t civilized enough to be in society.

Since the potential black jurors sabotaged their entry, not wanting any part of that, it led to no black jurors. Since there are no black jurors, msm and racists portrayed it as an all white jury. In order to create the false narrative that a bunch of racist whites were going to crucify that poor black teenager who just innocently defended himself.

After the jury came back so quickly (a very strong sign that they were fully confident in a "guilty" charge, and when it was for murder, not the lesser manslaughter charge) , I bet he really regretted leaving sentencing to the jury.
His dumbass family and retarded supporters walked his arse directly into a 35 year bid instead of seeking a plea deal from the very beginning. Now that he’s been convicted and sentenced, it’s time to go after that six figure slush fund in a wrongful death suit.

Not justice. If he's convicted of murder, he should forfeit his life.
