Guys, “used encrypted comms” is such a vague statement that it is meaningless.
Discord is an app used by gamers across the planet and it’s encrypted. Need more context around that statement for it to mean something.

BINGO and its probably high enough encryption that the FBI could not sniff it and break the encryption.
If the kid used an incognito browser and say duck-duck goose for his searches, there would be virtually no trail.
Best thing would be to look for a username and try to find it on popular discourse type sites.
