It’s hard to discern the truth from anything posted online about the fighting between Ukraine and Russia.

Between all the stories of phantom jets, hot, girl-next-door types armed with automatic weapons, Hollywood-style stampedes of people running from bombings, and Zelensky’s personal appearance before Congress wearing a legit Eastern-European mobster’s track suit, I find myself wondering . . .

“What if there really was fighting, but it’s already over and the narrative has been so profitable that no one wants to let go of the lucrative story line and we’re all just being played?”

The Ukrainians are starting their 9th mobilization.
They started this war with 500k soldiers most are dead or wounded. I have zero skin in this war, but the Russian artillery has killed hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians. They only get a stalemate if NATO stupidly starts WWIII by putting thousands of boots on the ground. Then the KIA will be 1:1 ratio. Russia will then mobilize 1 million.

My sons AA unit was on full 72 hours notice when this started. They shipped enough equipment and supplies for a full on assault lasting a year, that was the reported plan. Then they weren’t. I’m grateful my son did not have to go fight in potato brains war, but what happened to the money and all of the shipments that went ahead and never came back? This is not isolated either. We are being purposely depleted.

Better keep ‘em close and dry. We may be the only army left. ??

In a modern war, you are looking at a ratio of somewhere between 8:1 and 10:1. Thus, the number of dead on each side would be somewhere in the low five figures.
