These guys aren't Wagner. they are regular Russian infantrymen. there is footage of this same event from a different angle. you can see the Russian grunts run past dead Ukrainians with yellow Armbands. Russians wear red armbands.

The genocide under the thumb of Moscow in the 1930's is still within living family memory for many in Ukraine.

In a modern war, you are looking at a ratio of somewhere between 8:1 and 10:1. Thus, the number of dead on each side would be somewhere in the low five figures.
Miscounting and/or exaggerating casualty counts is certainly nothing new. In the not so distant past, body counts for number of enemy killed were regularly presented on network news programs every evening on American television during the Vietnam war. And - going by those numbers, the Vietnamese were able to f*** faster than they could be killed.
The point is - never believe anything said about the progress of a war if it comes from the mouth of someone who is even remotely interested in one side prevailing over the other.

Russia's Air defense systems are VERY good. We would lose aircraft.
It would take thousands of missiles to overwhelm their system and we currently do not have that kind of war time production to complete such a task for any prolonged engagement.
The Middle East goat frickers conflict has you guys living in a daze.
