Instead of sending much of the US military to the middle east to deter Iran it really could be two fold and also deter Israel.

Then let Israel nuke them. That's on Israel, I am all for helping the Iranian people undo the scourge Carter let take over there, but we've done our part on their nukes.

I agree it’s wild, but that source isn’t the only one saying this.
What we know:
-Netanyahu has been campaigning globally since the 1990s claiming Iran was close to having a nuclear weapon
-In 2023 at the UN he said Iran must face a “credible nuclear threat,” (aka the “Samson Option”)
-This rumor continues to pop up from CIA connected outlets
In other words:
-Israel has the means (nukes)
-Israel has the intent (they want Iran taken out)
-Israel has begun taking action being to pursue that end (heavy lobbying, US troop movements and previous strikes)
So while I'm certainly not ready to accept this rumor as fact, I’m not dismissing it out of hand either. There are frankly only a few logical explanations for why Trump is continuing to expend his political capital on Israeli focused items with all the other more relevant and beneficial options available?
