Let him speak. IMO let him be the default leader of the party. Let him speak over Trump. Inject some sanity into the clown show.

It would have been a defeat if Desantis wasn't a competent leader.

What does unified control look like with the current state of the Republican Party?

What gives you the impression that they’ll do anything to help fix the country?

I don’t understand this notion that once we get rid of Trump, we can get back to the things we think need to happen.

Trump was the best opportunity the GOP ever had, and the RINOs fumbled it.

Right. Like all the great things they were doing before he came along.

I would be fine with Ron, can he find a new and effective way to campaign?

From his speech, I am not sure he is interested. But in a sobering way, he described the republican result near an extinction level event for the GOP. Said GOP can't win without Texas. And he said there is no quick reversal. It could easily take over a decade to get back in the game.

Railroad? He only got like 1% of the primary vote. Its clear nobody likes him.

This spot has zero fish. Pull anchor and move on.

100%. He would’ve won the General and not set the GOP up for slaughter in 2026.

Desantis fricked up running in 2024. It was dumb and premature. Mainly because he wasn't going to beat Trump.

The calendar was always laid out perfectly for a 2028 run. Serve his 2 terms and immediately launch for 2028.

2032 he will be too far removed from the scene. Now is his time .

Now he's a terrible awkward candidate but I have no doubt he will be much improved vs where he was in 2024 cycle.

Things change but I'd bet Vance sits this one out. Makes no sense now and I'm not sure his heart is in it given recent comments about family.

Rubio bet on Iran like Trump so if he's smart, he will sit this one out too.

Don't know the order, but most likely Ron and Rubio

I hope not. 2028 is going to be another wipeout. Let Vance be the sacrificial lamb and then come back in 2032.

Agree 100%. But, this opportunity has presented itself. In hindsight, running in '24 might not end up hurting him in '28, if he could start building the coalition.

Vance will be damaged goods..

Rubio is probably safe. Otherwise, DeSantis.

Usually if not always, the two candidates are not from the same state.

It was definitely a dumb decision, because he listened to the wrong people, but I don't think it will harm him.

Can't deny Florida's Redness.

I think he and Rubio would be dynamic. It's time for the Republicans to start enlightening the American public on the Globalist fight.

So many on the Right need to understand what's at stake. And nearly everything that rides on America remaining Free, hinges on continuing Trump, Rubio, and Bessent's dismantling of the Globalist regime.

I said many times here that Desantis would NEVER be President because of the terrible decision to run in 2024.

If there is anything to know about politics though it's that things change and quickly.

Just a few months ago I said Vance would beat Rubio and Desantis like a drum.

Certainly things can change again and quickly but as of today I think Desantis is well positioned to see how things shake out over the next 6 months.

I think Vance and Rubio pass entirely on 2028.

Trump fricked it up by running in 2024. The GOP had a great opportunity to win in 24 and expand the map in 26 due to post-COVID backlash against Democrats.

Instead, we just saw a generational loss by the GOP thanks to DJT.

Remember when he was called a globalist RINO simply because he ran against Trump?

That was an insufferably loud minority. Most of us would have been thrilled with Ron.

Trump was the man to beat, period, at the time. He won because he ran on his first term accomplishments and a track record of backing up his campaign promises. And then, in his second term, he seems to have forgotten what it means to follow through.

What this proves, is how powerful the Establishment Uniparty really is. They're going to corrupt anything that's corruptible, and they're willing to raze the nation to the ground to hold their power. This cycle and the subsequent results are not primarily "a referendum on bLuMpF. It's the Establishment reclaiming control, and reminding the serfs who is really in charge.

How can you come to that conclusion when DSA candidates won all over place? And it was a referendum on Trump whether his supporters want admit it or not.

Many of us said if Texas falls, the GOP is done. Michigan gone, even lost some in SC and Kansas. Georgia is gone.

Welcome to hell.

Sure. It’s the “uniparty’s fault. Sigh.

Anything but admitting the truth.
